About Sarah
I am a certified practising speech pathologist with over 20 years of experience supporting children and families across early intervention, primary school, and community settings. I am also a parent of three children and have lived experience of neurodiversity within my family, which informs my respectful, strengths-based, and understanding approach to my work.
I have a strong interest in neurodiversity-affirming practice, supporting children with ADHD, language and literacy difficulties, and challenges with friendships and social skills. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping children feel understood, confident, and capable.
My work is centred on understanding the individual needs of each child, building a strong relationship, and incorporating their interests into every session. I take time to listen and be present with each child I work with, appreciating their strengths and uniqueness, and meeting them at their level.
Every child is unique
At The Speech Hub, we strive for neurodiversity-affirming practice. This means we acknowledge and celebrate the diversity of all minds and all people, ensuring every child feels accepted and supported as they learn and grow.
